I installed Forcemod III: Return of the Sith, and while I get that it allows characters to be classified accurately so that you don't have non force users using lightsabers and force powers in multiplayer, I don't understand how to make this apply to the character models I've installed independent of it. All the ones I tried on JKhub can only be used by the human player and won't show up in the bot list. This isn't a problem when launching the game with OpenJK and the JA unlimited thing, but neither of those work for the Serenity launcher, and even when I removed pretty much all the other character mods, it still wouldn't work.Īnd one last thing, whether or not I get any of those other mods working correctly, I'd like to know if there's a Palpatine skin/character model that can be used as a bot in multiplayer. So after I gave up on that one, I used a mod which only alters the lightsaber gameplay and nothing else, the Serenity Jedi Engine, and when I launched multiplayer with the Serenity exe, and was about to start a match, it gave me that crap about the npc extensions being too large. Still, I'm not sure I was instailling the files for Evolution of Combat in the right places and the readme mentioned something about Jedi Outcast files, even though I only wanted to use the mod for Academy and take advantage of the combat system. I'll probably just wait for the beta version of KotF since right now it's multiplayer only and mostly focused on the prequel characters. For a time, the only mod I used was Movie Battles II, but I never could get the hang of blocking and gave up on it, so I've tried Knights of the Force 2.1 and Evolution of Combat 3, but for some reason, neither one of them would work.
Lately, I've had some trouble getting mods to work correctly.
